    I wanted to invite those who can make it to a rugby match this Saturday October 31st at 10 am. My, I mean OUR team, the Boston Irish Wolfhounds RFC will be taking on Boston RFC in our yearly derby.

    We counted total reps

    Pullups – 33 (I suck)
    Push ups – 94 (high of 18, low of 10)
    Sit ups – 99 (high of 14, low of 12)
    Squats – 104 (high of 15, low of 11)

    Total 330 – I think I wrote 325 on the board b/c I added wrong.

    Total score works just fine. Full house in Topsfield for all the am classes. This has been a great training week. Keep up the hard work.

    (72 pullups, 235 pushups and situps, 162 squats)

    From the mainsite:
    “Tabata Something Else”

    Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

    Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

    Once again I followed Tim’s lead and like an idiot used the weight jacket for the WOD 20lb DB on the sit ups.

    2. I’m an honest man. I’d like to make a special announcement to all Crossfit members doing heated yoga on top of crossfit…. STOP GOING!!

    Danny has laid down the law that the door’s can not be opened during the winter due too heating costs.

    20# sit ups: 10
    weight vest squats: 9

    Did 5×3 deadlifts today at 275 (I’ve been neglecting these and it shows.)

    Also, 8 consecutive muscle-ups (PR). I guess the 10-week muscle-up challenge was good for just one additional consecutive muscle-up. Unbelievable. I should do 30 for time or Jason soon to see if maybe it helped with shortening the recovery period between reps.

    Ahhh, Ciaccio. Drinking the Haterade this morning I see. Don’t be jealous of Beverly. Our quest for world domination is really nothing to be upset about. As soon as I lure Goland and Dawny 5.0 to the darkside we’ll be unstoppable. Don’t think we won’t have our way. We’ve done terrible things in the past to recruit athletes into our program. Bought Humvees for their moms living in the projects, paid off gambling debts, and I won’t even talk about how we got Brent. Whatever it takes to win, TEAM BEVERLY all the way!

    Shirts off tomorrow people … its going to be hot out!
