Spend 2 1/2 hours with NSCF Coach Dawn Adam-Brown learning: The importance of strength training. How and why women approach lifting differently than men. Practicing the core strength lifts (press, dead lift, back squat and front squat) and some work with the more dynamic lifts (push press, push jerk and thruster). Attempt a new personal best with one of the lifts. Learn how to document your training to ensure progress. How to transfer the strength lifts into your high rep workouts. This is a great opportunity for 12 women to learn, practice and ultimately get more out of their daily workout.
