Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
Remember that a Caveman would have eaten pie and ice cream if he had the chance.

A caveman would also have consumed much beer.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope to be back next week. I’ve lost half of November to this flu. Oink oink. Last WOD 11/9 (where I even set a PR on my front squat). Last workout 11/11 (4.2K run with Sam, which was supposed to be in preparation for Gabe’s Run). Then it was like running into a brick wall.

I’m drinking lemonade right now and eating cookies.
Upside down push ups at 5 it is.

Hit a 6 AM cardio-Kenpo workout one-on-one with the bro-in-law…haven’t moved like that in a while…a LOOOOOONG time…probably be hurting tomorrow. Took my jump rope for dbl under practice and worked the handstand again.
8:30 AM workout with couple friends to keep the Thanksgiving train rockin’.
Gabe’s Run Friday, then back at it Monday – evening though…got the day off and planning to sleep in for a change (if the body will even let me).

25 on the overhead Squats at 95#. I had the pleasure of working in with Kurt this morning. Just in case Lew doesn’t pipe up he put up 26.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone. Remember it only happens once every year. Enjoy it! I am taking care of the penance on Monday.

53# was a struggle had to scale down to 35#
25. November 2009 at 10:22 pm
WOD – started w/35 for a few swings, but switched to 53#
used 53 until end of 4th round–weight was fine, but I
had to keep rechalking my hand. Ripped a dime size
patch of skin out of my palm–forced to switch to 35
w/left hand for final round. Finished in 9+ minutes
lost my balance on the overhead squats and only did 10 reps

Commnets got me thinking about what they actually ate that first time out. Here is the menu from the first Thanksgiving. It’s about 95% Paleo, mostly because they only had what they could grow and raise. I’m good for 80% today, maybe 75%.

FYI – They did not eat pie and ice cream, but Ben, you go right ahead.

Well, its almost a week later, but i wanted to send a huge shout out to the whole crew at NorthShore CF. i dropped in from San Diego for a workout (9am ) and it was a solid one! I may be biting some of that programming for the west coast. Look out for a tee shirt in the mail and thanks again for a great workout. – Sean
