So I was having a nice little Wednesday Birthday until Ryan jumps in the middle of my 27 BD Muscle ups and tries to modify the muscle up to make it so basically only 6 people on this earth could do it. Luckily I’m one of those 6 people.

as usual…DID SOMEBODY SAY MUSCLE UPS? I seriously might place 1st tonight.

Danny, thank you. As a community, we should never loose sight of WHY these workouts have names.

Bummed I couldn’t make this WOD. I planned on it, but my league match ran way over in terms of time so I did have enough time to make it to CF by 9am. It was an epic hour and a half battle, but I came up short.

I used pure athleticism to keep it close. He had a forehand that was like a laser. I’m 100% certain that if it weren’t for my base fitness level acquired from CrossFitting over the past 18 months that all these losses would have been absolute blow-outs. No doubt this guy would have steamrolled me. The good news is that my backhand was deadly today (for the first time since this comeback of mine). The bad news is that my opponent totally exploited my forehand, which has been slower rounding into form. I’m getting better each week, though, which is all I could ask for at this point! Surprisingly, I’m in 6th place out of 12, because it’s a total points league. Wins and losses don’t matter, until the playoffs. If I can just sneak into the 4th playoff spot by the end of the 12 week league…

I’m guessing that someone in decent shape should be able to make it to the 4th playoff spot…

    Mike,
I would like to think I am at least sitting at the chess game. Maybe one of these days you will take me under your wing!

    Joe,
I am still waiting for the invite for a lesson and game.
