See you tomorrow and Friday….do the math Cas

“PITK” @ Ben’s Box and lots of GHD situps….what else would you expect?!

please note that Ben’s Box has no affiliation with Crossfit, Whole9, P90X, Mark’s Daily Apple (although we did steal his logo), any Church or Government (Canada did ask)

If anyone is interested a few us of got together this past Sunday for an outdoor WOD
3 round 1/3 mile run, 21 kb swings, 12 burpees….we had fun and so did the kids.

Current research indicates that training at Ben’s Box will result in a two minute increase to your “Annie” time. I heard the music is better there though.

WOD lost count – either 9 1/3 rounds or 10 1/3 Level II

    Deadlifts 2/305, 1/325(1 fail), 2/305, 2/315

much harder to hold the bar without my usual alternating hands hook grip

muscle-up practice–still having trouble timing my kip

managed 4 “jumping” muscle ups, substituting a jump from the floor for
a kip in the hanging position

I should have my first true muscle-up in the next two weeks

Wow, does that mean Ben is a three/wk member now…..this is earth shattering news. Now, the question is, is he going to NOT come three day/week like he wasn’t coming two days/wk. Let’s hope not, we’re all the better when you show up Ben.

Oh and JP kept the tradition alive, he decided to forgo the scheduled strength workout and did Presses in YOUR corner today. Not quite with the same flair though.

    9 fun filled rounds
165 on the dead lifts. Felt GREAT! Haven’t done those in about a year.
Although the running portion of the warm up SUCKED! I haven’t run since the last time we had running in the warm-up or WOD in 2008. YIKES.

@ Jen: so THAT’S why you weren’t at chuch on Sunday. Ben is the devil luring you away. HAHA! That’s a leaping demon on his logo not a knome. A-ha!

It was one of those days where the victory was in just showing up. It was not a strong one for me. My abs are so sore from yesterday, so keeping a tight core was tough.

    Ascending 3×3 Deadlift – 295,305,315(fail)
    Consecutive 1×20 Deadlift – 225 (lost grip at 12)

I passed on the metcon in favor of letting my body get some rest. I have racquetball league match tomorrow at 7am. The guy is a former Mass State Singles winner, so this should be another grudge match if I show up with my best stuff.
