    Latitude Men’s “A” League Match

    L (1-5), 1-15, 15-9, 4-15

    I keep saying that I need to play/practice more than once a week if I want to hang with these guys, yet another week has passed and the last time I played was last week’s league match. The guy I played this week won the Massachusetts State championship a couple of years ago, and his game showed it. Yeah, so I’m a former Mass State champ too, but that was 13 years ago. That same year Pedro Martinez won a Cy Young Award. Can’t even make a comparison.

    I have to figure out a way to work more practice into my schedule.

    So we have some good and bad news to start off hump day.

    the good news is ….Alicia has decided to start working out in her underwear.

    the BAD news is Alex has made the same decision. ******g 8 rounds behind that kid last night in the rotisserie broad jump line was brutal.

    still guilty of “stripper butt” during initial pull–tough habit to break

    WOD – all pull ups were dead hang–too awkward to kip w/this workout 11:07

    Joe – you are better off than Pedro, last seen getting his butt kicked by the Yanks in the W.S.

    Finally feel like I am getting the hang of the power snatch – got to 115

    Mod for the WOD to save my shoulder for the week – did ring rows, then KTE rather the complex which I found to be too complex. Around 10:30

    I don’t know what stripper butt is…but I think I have it too. I suck at this form ( but am working on it)
    WOD 10:31 . counting was almost as hard as the workout

    def. stripper butt–raising your hips too fast and losing your upright back angle
    during initial pull (like doing straight-legged deadlifts). Ask Danny V for
    an explanation–he coined the phrase in Beverly
