Sacred Heart University Open
NSCF weightlifting team headed to the Sacred Heart University Open for a meet. Lauren, Bekah and Andy represented the team well. Lauren and Bekah both took home the Silver medals in their weight class and Andy threw down a PR in his Clean & Jerk. Congratulations team on a successful meet! Thank you to Gary Valentine of Connecticut weightlifting hosted a great event. Big Dog Neal Thompson( Silver Medal) and Alex Strauss of CrossFit Boston competed. Sam Keough(Gold) represented Again Faster. Ivan Rojos from Risto Sports helped out our team with some gear. Our good friend Dr. Ellyn Robinson with Team Bridgewater had a very strong team as always.
Saturday’s Topsfield’s Team Workout was a beast. While I was home dying in bed Dawn laid down the law. Thank you 5.0!!! Great job to everyone who participated in the workout and who showed back up to train Sunday and Monday.
Sunday’s Team workout was another fun gathering. Dawn put the team through the ringer. The team had 10 minutes to establish a 1rm snatch before moving onto last years stadium workout. Thank you to the team for their hard work and the NSCF athletes who came to get them better.
