Beverly 9am WOD: Fish Out of Water
2 Teams of 8
One Person from Each team is rowing at all times
Team with the longest row at the end of 25 minutes wins
The following workload must be completed by each team:
-400 KB Swings (53,35)
-400 Wall Ball (20,14)
-200 Pullups
-200 Burpees
-20 Rope Climbs

This is the most fun I’ve had coaching a WOD in a long time. The last three minutes of rowing was INTENSE! Team Brian Croz edged out Team Corey Croz by 15 meters as the clock hit 25 minutes. It was pretty awesome.

Thanks Danny, this was really fun to do – great teamwork and competition. The row off at end was pretty exciting especially being on the winning team :)

If you have not come to a Saturday class, you need to check it out. Always a good crowd, great workouts and fun.

A 15 meter difference in 25 minutes is pretty damn close. That’s 1 good pull!

This one was SERIOUS…and definitely a lot of fun (and pain). Head was throbbing afterwards…first time I can remember feeling that since I started three months ago. Guess I actually worked it out this morning.

[This entry just after waking from a solid 2-hr Saturday late-afternoon recovery nap.]

And great photo reminders of the PAIN that came Wednesday with that mini-Fran-speed-death thing…completely unexpected. Ben got another 37 seconds on me that day…

This was a great workout. Effort put out by both teams was amazing. I can’t wait for next week. We have to do something like this again. Hit a gym record as well with 45 consective pull ups.

Man that was a tough workout. I haven’t dry heaved like that since…well…the night before. Good times.

Tough, but a ton of fun….I loved the team atmosphere – wish we could have more just like it!
