Hey Danny,
I raced in the SheRox all women sprint triathlon last Saturday. Distances were 1/2 mi swim, 12 mi bike and 5k run. My total time was a pretty slow 1:44:29, but no complaints because I didn’t train (unless swimming laps once, 4 days before race day counts). And here is the lesson learned… Without training for the swim or bike portion and by primarily doing Crossfit 2-3 times a week, I can complete a triathlon pretty painlessly. BUT if I want to beat my previous years time, training is kind of necessary. And P.S. I kicked ass in transitions. I may be a crazy slow swimmer, but man do I know how to put on a pair of sneakers and bike helmet pretty damn quickly.
C ya later,
Linds

Nice work! Isn’t it amazing what a couple hours a week at cross fit can prepare you to do? Cross fit endurance has a swimming workout…you can kill 2 birds with one stone!
