Arms and traps were already crying out for mercy when I woke up this morning due to Wed & Thu WODs.

I knew going into it that 95 lbs was NOT gonna feel great…but alas, sometimes being right doesn’t help anything AT ALL. Loaded an RX’d barbell and gave myself no out (though I was tempted to de-load to 75 lb at a couple points during the second and third rounds…).

24:47 Rx -- Nervous system fully engaged and sufficiently stimulated for the day…I’m still shaking a little…

The 6 AM crew were a bunch of workhorses, everybody cranking it out until the very end. Love starting my Friday with the crew!

*This one really makes me appreciate how well the mental toughness and determination to make it through our WODs every day translates to all kinds of challenges out in the world of life. It’s not an aspect of CrossFit that we hear about much, but what we do every time we force ourselves through a tough workout, shutting out thoughts of pain and self-doubt, truly does make it that much easier to plow through challenging things (circumstantial or self-inflicted) outside of the training center.

I totally agree with you Ninja. I always say after a particularly difficult WOD “The rest of the day will be easy after that.”

Nothing I do today will be more difficult than what I did before 7am. On a side note, I cannot imagine getting 11,400lbs over my head (95 x 120reps) without the support of the the 6am.

      Well said Ninja!

Another Friday sleeper wod! Don’t take this one lightly! This one got the heart pumping and the sweat flowing. A nice way to start off Friday. Legs are smoked after this week and general body soreness has set in. 20:24 Rxd on this. I’m not sure its possible to do slower K2E. I’m a tortoise. Great job to everyone at the 8am class. 8am class is sure to be the best looking class of the day. Just sayin’!

Have a great weekend, everyone! Keep it betweeen the buoys!

Glad to have that WOD over by 9am. Really tough, did the squats and push presses unbroken but had to break up the jerks. 20:50 rx. Fun to work out with the 8am crew plus “noon Brad” and more new faces! Thanks Dawn. Murph and I working on putting up some big families points but the Tombstone clan will be hard to beat. Have a great weekend.

Thinking about modifying and turning these into jumping back squats.

    Thoughts?

LOVED this workout. Had a fun crew at 9am…some of us a little slow from a tough CF week and a late night on Thursday…but we hung in there! I don’t remember my time….but I do know how tired my shoulders are feeling. A shout-out to Matt for hanging in there and finishing strong. And big welcome back to Gary! Haven’t seen him and ages…and he was back at 8am! Great to see you!
Looking forward to some usual Saturday fun at NSCF.
    :)
