There was alot going on this morning, Ben nearly passed out and Danny violated my personal space during tabata pushups.
2:19 box jumps --
WOD 3:40 with 155#DL/30# press -- mid way through the last round of presses my shoulder more or less shut down. I push pressed (poorly) the last 4 just to finish.
Situps -- 14 on first 6, 12 on last two
Pushups -- not great -- around 7-8 per round, my arms were toast.
Tabata Situps: 12, 11, 10, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9 Ben was making “primal” noises…
Tabata Pushups: 16, 9, [insert random numbers between 3 and 5 for remaining sets]
[Danny violated Gordo's personal space...with emphasis on VIOLATED - I felt violated and I wasn't anywhere near Gordo's personal space...]
Ben was misbehaving and put Danny in position to violate Gordo’s personal space…
It was quite the eventful morning…guess that’s what happens when more of the 6 AM crew show all together than in recent weeks…

Wod- 6:00 DL @ 185 “Speedy Diane” sucks when you’re doing 185 and people like Ben are doing 135. I’m also terrible at high rep Deadlifts. No clue why.

I was using the bar that weighs 50 pounds.
It’s very special and Dave only lets me use it.
Between the special bar and the clips I suppose I actually did 170.2 pounds
Once you can do 75 situps in 20 seconds Dave will probably let you use it too.

The key to good mechanics. See your olympic lifts frame by frame. Break old running habits with a 45 minute video analysis session.

2:38 box jumps-slow and steady-still paranoid about reinjuring my knee
WOD 3:27 @185 w/30# dumbbells — deadlifts really easy, but had to rest 3-4 times
