    5×5 of #115

    Hi Jen
I am just one of the quiet guys in the Topsfield 9am class, if you have been to that class you probably didn’t even notice me.

The Dead zone is one of my favorite Steven King movies!! The picture I put up is from my favorite scene in Pulp Fiction.

Val would not stop no matter how much I tried to convince her. I even sunk so low as to pretend I stopped when she was not looking. She did not fall for it.
However I did notice everyone in the class was routing purely for Val.
I was crying on the inside the entire time. It was especially hurtful when Val and Tracey both gave me the finger for no apparent reason.

    Jay,
What did your beautiful wife say when you told her that 1/2 of the 9:00 AM class beat her time and that you almost tripled it?

5×5 95# working on form. (didn’t want to upset Jay by going heavier)
WOD: one more rep than Jay
Challenge: less than 1/2 of Jay’s time.

Jay is the standard against which we all should measure ourselves . Except VAL, who rules even more than Jay.

  7. temin Says:

Jay is the quietest on at 9am.

Not even Tim was cheering you on, Jay?

  8. DOUG W Says:

    OHS uncomfortable today–only 115# sets

WOD level II – 2 knees to elbows shy of 10 full rounds

    challenge 2:34 squat hold

  9. jpeirce Says:

I don’t think Melissa was bothered at all. In fact she admitted that there really is not any competition in the 6am class to push her to her full potential.

  10. rotker Says:

    Send her to Beverly….

  11. vcinsi Says:

Jay…first time posting here but I will say you sunk pretty low trying to get me to fall. I almost fell for it. I had to stay because it is probably the only thing I had a chance at beating you at something! Nice job today but my back is still hurting!

  12. jpeirce Says:

I would however I am intimidated by all the guys that don’t where shirts there.
That would be like willfully sending her to a Chipendales club 3 days a week.

  13. Melissa Says:

    That was so funny!lol!

  14. Tracy Conley Says:

    5X5 OH squat at 65lbs
I am not sure how many rounds of the WOD. I think I was just 2 burpee sprints shy of six.
7:38 squat hold. I have no idea how I did that….after how my quads feel from Saturday. Jay….I don’t recall my middle finger going up…I must have been delirious. :)

  15. timgoland Says:

don’t “where” shirts. Does that mean the shirts are lost? ENGLISH AS A FIRST LANGUAGE SMACKDOWN!

  16. jpeirce Says:

Hey! I was multi tasking. I was busy doing a half asked job on a conference call.

    It is on!

BTW nice job on your 30 sec squat hold!

  17. rotker Says:

    half asked?

  18. jpeirce Says:

It’s where the slang half assed comes from.
I was trying to not be vulgar but now look what you made me do!
