5 rounds! I would have expired. 4 in Beverly. Oh, boy, this was a bad one to come back to after two days off with a cold.
Rd 1 – completed
Rd2 – Got through the 15′s barely
Rd3 – dropped down to 45# – Got through a handful of the 15 jumping pullups
Rd4 – Half way through 15 thrusters
Going to feel it all day – I’ll third Kurt’s comment
rounds 2,3,4 only did 21 thruster/21 pullups each round
all rounds with rx’d weight
completely gassed after the 21 thrusters in round 2 and couldn’t recover.
my strength endurance is not improving—I can go all out in almost every
workout for 3-5 minutes, then I burn out quickly.
as rx’d
rd 1: completed 2:30ish
rd 2: completed 2:30ish
rd 3: completed 3:00ish
rd 4: completed 3:15ish
rd 5: completed 3:00-3:15ish
the -ishes are because i was too delirious at the end of each round to actually check my times.
R.I.P. those who died yesterday at Fort Hood
My legs are screaming worse now than when doing it. Tomorrow they should be locking up during my yard work. Maybe I should just sit on the couch all day and watch sports. Hmmm.
Breast fed Leo for the first two rounds….DNF the last three but at least I got to play. PVC for the thrusters (taking it easy in my 4th trimester), made it through the 15s on my first round, to halfway through the 9s on my second, and through the 15s again on my third. While I won’t tell Dave to F himself because I severely modified the WOD, I will support those who have told Dave to F himself because I saw the puddles on the floor today. It was NOT pretty. Good to be back.
PS: How come Beverly only had to do 4 rounds? Are they weaker over there?
PPS: Kurt, I am shocked by your language. You don’t talk like that….I do. xoxo
We are definitely girly men, that’s right Ben. However, one of our women finished all FIVE rounds under four minutes each. Everyone have a great weekend. I too will be raking leaves all day.
Well finally got to take a shot @ this WOD early Saturday AM leaving work.
RoUnDs: 1- Finished < 3min (should have used full 4min). 2- Finished 3:52 3- DNF (jumping 9s)
4- DNF (thruster 9s)

Ask Joe V about your issue. I’m sure he has a few articles archived to explain exactly what you are describing. Go to the information GURU!

I wish I knew, Tim, cuz I have the same issue going on 1 1/2 years into this CrossFit thing.
