I finally got the video from Murph together. What a great day. I look forward to our next gathering. My apologies for the lack of sound. Youtube took it out. For some reason they thought that my songs belonged to someone else.

What an incredible experience this year in Albany!
Dave’s post on the Topsfield blog has a lot of the details, but I have to express how proud I was of all of our athletes and spectators. We had about 40 people total representing NSCF. That’s one heck of a cheering section for our 10 competitors.
There are lots of pics on the facebook page and Chris will have a number of great shots on her site soon that I will put up a link for.
A few highlights for me:
Alicia absolutely crushing everything she touched.
Kendra killing the clean & jerks.
Ryan gutting out a beast of an overhead squat workout.
Croz and Casey tearing through handstand pushups.
Andy ripping his hands up and still going after it.
Kate and Mandy making the snatches look easy.
Kathryn jumping in to help the boys with chest to bar pullups.
… and Brandon eating two big meals back to back Friday night.
WAY TO REPRESENT!!

Another great turnout this year in Albany. I am a very proud coach. We had 3 individuals, a master and the team compete. We were well represented. Thank you NSCF for your support. We had many make the trip and even more cheering from our home base. Thank you CrossFit Albany for hosting.
The final standings:
Susie Wong 1st place in the masters division. 13th in the country. There are two more regionals to go. Top 15 women go to the CrossFit Games. If nothing changes Susie will represent North Shore CrossFit at the Games in July. Oh and no complaining!
Alicia Gomes – 6th place. Alicia was impressive. She was in this competition right up to the end.
Ryan Hewitt- 19th place. Another strong performance.
Kendra Ceceita- 34th place. She’s got heart! Kendra gave it 110% until they called time. Very inspirational!
Team NSCF – 20th place- Andy, Brian, Casey,Mandy, Kate, kathryn. The team represented us well. We were sitting 5th after day 1. Everyone gave it their all and left it on the pavement in Albany! I am a very proud coach! I am already looking forward to next year. There are tons of pictures on facebook. Check out our facebook page in the side column.
